The compression lever on the clip is designed to fit into most of the common grooved composite boards on the market so that you can place a clip over every joist, set in the next deck board and only fasten once — no need to soft set or start the screw. With one clip, the guesswork is taken out of deck board spacing, eliminating the frustration of clips falling out of the groove and onto the ground.
The Grip-Rite® Ninja™ Hidden Deck Clip also self-spaces, providing airflow and space for water to run off. The coated #316 marine-grade stainless steel screw and Grip-Bite® razor teeth are corrosion-resistant and able to be used in any location.
