Use this helpful guide to store ShingleLayment®-HT for maximum performance and shelf life:

  • Store upright and in original packaging
  • Ensure storage is in a well-ventilated area
  • The ideal temperature should be between 40 degrees Fahrenheit (4.4 degrees Celsius) and 90 degrees Fahrenheit (32 degrees Celsius) to maintain product integrity and for easy removal of liner backing.

Grip-Rite® synthetic roof underlayment is a self-adhering, high-temperature underlayment for effective defense against the elements. ShingleLayment®-HT is a synthetic roofing solution that provides superior reliability so you can focus on completing your building projects.

Take note of the following precautions when using ShingleLayment®-HT:

  • ShingleLayment®-HT is a vapor barrier. Ensure the space that the membrane covers is well-ventilated.
  • Take note of all applicable building codes for your structure type and geographical area before installation commences.
  • Grip-Rite® ShingleLayment®-HT should be covered with the primary roofing materials within 180 days of membrane installation.
  • Allow ShingleLayment®-HT to warm up to room temperature before applying in cold weather conditions (-4 degrees Fahrenheit or -20 degrees Celsius).
  • In warm temperatures of 90 degrees Fahrenheit (20 degrees Celsius or above), let the membrane cool to room temperature before application.
  • Do not apply this product over existing roof coverings.
  • Avoid installing fasteners through ShingleLayment®-HT or over unsupported areas of the roof.
